Poem

I am not your prey, nor your victim,

I’m strong and I know my worth.

No longer cowering in fear,

My voice will be heard on this earth.

My voice is a weapon,

And I will not be silenced.

I’m a woman of courage and resilience,

And I’m standing up for what’s right.

I am not your property,

My body is my own.

I will fight for my freedom,

Until you are overthrown.

I won’t be a statistic,

A victim of your manly rage.

With my own story to wage.

I am not your prey, or afraid no more.
