For the third time in a row, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been crowned the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year Award. The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco.

Earlier this year, the elite goalkeeper finished fourth in the Women’s Yachine Trophy at the Ballon d’Or ceremony and was also nominated for The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper Award 2025. Notably, this award marks her third consecutive win, following wins in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Commenting on her, the Brighton star said, “I am incredibly grateful and truly honored to receive this award. Being recognized for the 3rd time means a lot to me . This moment reflects countless hours of hard work. My sincere appreciation goes to my coaches and teammates, and to all the amazing people who has helped me”.

Additionally, the Super Falcons also clinched the Women’s National Team of the Year award, for the third time in a row. They outperformed Ghana and Morocco to the honour, cementing Nigeria’s dominance in African women’s football.
