JLo, Cardi B, Reese Witherspoon, and Glorilla have joined the long list of American celebrities to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in her bid to become America’s next President.
Ahead of the elections on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, a long list of American celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Glorilla, and Reese Witherspoon, have voiced support for Vice President Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States of America.
In a campaign rally in Nevada on Oct. 31, 2024, the Latina-American singer, actress, dancer and businesswoman Jennifer Lopez endorsed Kamala Harris while telling the public that it was okay to be upset at comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s racial jokes at Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden Rally on Oct. 27.
In a video currently circulating on social media, the Puerto Rican-born celebrity stated that Trump truly showed everyone how he feels about Puerto Ricans and Latinas in general.
“At Madison Square Garden, he reminded us who really is and how he really feels. It wasn’t just Puerto Ricans who were offended that day, okay? It was every Latino in this county, it was humanity and anyone of decent character,” Jennifer Lopez said.
She further explained her support for Kamala’s visions for the United States of America if she were elected to power and affirmed her belief in the power of women and voters.
“I believe in the power of women. I believe that women have the power to make a difference in this election. I believe in the power of Latinos. I believe in the power of our community. I believe in the power of all our votes,” she said.
The video, which she posted on her Instagram page and has over 230,000 likes, is captioned “Honoured to stand with @KamalaHarris. Let’s lift each other up and keep pushing for a future where every voice is heard.”
American rappers Cardi B and Glorilla and actress Reese Witherspoon have also supported Kamala Harris.
At Kamala’s Milwaukee campaign rally on November 1, Cardi B stated that she believes in Kamala Harris and would not give Donald Trump a second chance to “tell women what to do with their bodies.” She said, “Donny Dump, if your definition of protection is making sure our daughters have fewer rights than their mothers, then I don’t want it.”
“TGIF” rapper Glorilla, who also performed at the Milwaukee rally on November 1, 2024, shared an Instagram post earlier this week captioned “Vote Kamala Harris on November 5th” and shared the voting link to show her support for Kamala.
Actress and Producer Reese Witherspoon also took to her Instagram page to share that she had just early-voted for Kamala ahead of Tuesday’s elections.
“I voted today. The top of my mind, as I considered all candidates, is protecting women’s rights to medical privacy and reproductive choice. This is a critical time in our shared history to vote for the candidate that represents the future we want to see. That’s why I voted for Kamala Harris to be president.
“For my daughter and for the millions of hard-working American women who value our freedoms. I want to protect democracy at all costs. I love my country, and no matter what happens in this election, I’m here to move our great nation forward in a unified way,” she stated.
