Oprah Winfrey and other celebrities stand strong in support of Kamala Harris as American citizens decide on their next president
In the final election campaign of Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Nov. 4, 2024, Actress, Producer and TV host Oprah Winfrey urged citizens of America to vote for Kamala as she made a stop in Philadephia, state of Pennsylvania.
The rally, which was also graced by other celebrities like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, who also performed at the rally, was held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Oprah fully energised the crowd, especially first-time voters, to highlight the importance of each vote in what she called “one of the closest races in history.”
“’If we don’t show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again. If you’re feeling burned out and maybe inconsequential, nothing could be further from the truth. Every single vote is going to matter,” Oprah urged the crowd.
Kamala, in her fifth and final rally of the day, called on supporters to “finish strong” and cast the election as a chance to move beyond a “decade of fear and division” in American politics.
“America is ready for a fresh start,” she said, envisioning a future in which citizens no longer view each other as adversaries.
