Afraid No More

I am who I am.

A girl, a woman, a sister, and a mother.

I am afraid No More to aim for the stars or become a leader of the world.

I am Afraid No More of your educational inequality, economic abuse.

Cyber and sexual harassment.

nor the emotional and psychological abuse that I may not reach my goals.

Watch me as I raise my head from the dust, trampling, and inequalities.

I am who I am, a WOMAN of great strength and skills.

Attaining my dreams is all I aim for.

Look around you, I am, but a blessing to raise the flag high.

I hope this plea of mine will not be thrown into the winds.

I am Afraid No More to be heard, seen, and recognised on the global stage.

Where Queens and Kings dine.

I am Afraid No More.

To be a key contender in our quest for global development.

I am Afraid No More.

To speak when any form of violence is meted out on my gender.

I am Afraid No More to dream and seek justice when needed.

I will speak up when every form of violence is committed against my sister.

UNITE to End Violence against women and girls!
