Former captain of French Ligue 1, Ben Yedder, has been convicted of psychological violence against his estranged wife. The couple are in the process of divorcing.
During the court hearing, which took place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Ben was found guilty of psychological violence against his wife. He was fined 90,000 euros and ordered to pay 60,000 euros, half in damages to his wife and half in legal fees.
The 35-year-old striker had earlier received a two-year jail sentence in November 2024 for assaulting a woman. He is also under investigation alongside his brother, Sabri, for reportedly raping two women in 2023. NFM reports gender-based violence against women here.
