Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has warned fans about impersonators using her name on Twitter and Facebook.

The actress made this known in posts shared on her Instagram story on Monday, February 2, 2026, stating that she is not on Twitter or Facebook and any accounts claiming to be her on those platforms are fake.

“Before I forget, I’ve said this before, but it looks like I have to keep saying this. I am not on Twitter or Facebook. My only social media pages are this and my recently opened, verified TikTok account,” she wrote.

Nancy expressed frustration that the ability to purchase verified blue ticks on Twitter has made impersonation easier and more convincing.

She emphasised that any words attributed to her on these fake pages do not reflect her views or statements, and urged fans to report the fake accounts.

Impersonation has become a growing problem for Nigerian celebrities, with fake accounts using their names and images to scam fans, spread misinformation, or make controversial statements that damage the celebrities’ reputations.
