“Old Videos,” Annie Macaulay Dismisses Claims of Reconciliation with 2Face 

On July 20, 2026, Nigerian actress and model Annie Macaulay took to her Instagram Stories to dismiss viral claims that she and her ex-husband, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face or 2Baba, were back together and were kissing and hugging in a Lagos club on July 17. 

“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere!!!” She went further to warn her followers, “Believe everything you see on SM at your expense.”

The dismissal followed a claim made on July 17 by X user @badboyozzy, who stated that 2face had linked up with Annie in a club, where they were seen kissing and hugging while vibing to his songs, accompanied by a video. 

The claim spread rapidly across social media platforms, reigniting public speculation about the state of 2face’s relationships. In two Instagram stories posted on July 20, Annie tagged herself with the hashtags #AnnieMacaulay and #Peace, signalling that she had no interest in engaging the narrative beyond a direct dismissal.
