Eneni Oduwole, a prominent associate member of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), was elected to the DCRO Institute’s Board of Directors. This new development occurred on Monday, February 23, 2026. In another significant milestone, she was also appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Baobab Microfinance Bank. This was announced on Friday, January 30, 2026. 

The DCRO Institute is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit collaborative educational initiative that offers programmes on the positive governance of risk-taking and the practical aspects of risk governance needed to pursue corporate goals. On the other hand, Baobab Microfinance Bank is a leading financial institution in Nigeria. It focuses on micro, small, and medium businesses. As a financial institution, it serves over 200,000 customers, operates 38 branches in Nigeria, and serves customers in seven African countries. 

With over 30 years of experience, Ms Eneni is a seasoned strategist recognised for her expertise in risk management, governance, and sustainability. Her career spans several high-profile roles across the public and private sectors. She is the Founder and CEO of Alter-Ed Limited, a consultancy specialising in risk management and organisational transformation. She has formerly served as the Deputy Group Chief Risk Officer at Dangote Industries Limited and held senior risk management positions at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) and Stanbic IBTC.

Eneni earned her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Calabar and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Durham University and Emlyon Business School. She also holds an MSc in Risk Management from NYU Stern and an MBA from Lagos Business School.
