In a broadcast live on Facebook, a man known as The Frenchman murdered his wife, Dutchess Díor, following a heated argument during a Facebook Live session. The tragedy unfolded in front of a live audience yesterday.
The couple are known for their volatile and highly public relationship; their marriage was highly toxic, filled with repeated breakups, emotional outbursts, and mutual accusations of betrayal, which they often streamed to their followers in real-time.
In the live broadcast, the argument began as another one of their routine confrontations — full of tension, name-calling, and unresolved resentment, which ended in the death of Dutchess Dior.
In the livestream, the Frenchman accused Dutchess Díor of spreading sideways stories and manipulating the narrative online. Their argument focused heavily on money. He claimed that every time he got upset, it was somehow related to finances.
There were mentions of a cruise trip taken while feeling broke and financially unstable, as well as accusations involving money being withdrawn from their son’s savings and sent to a relative, which escalated tensions. Dutchess Díor said that things in her life started to fall apart financially after getting involved with him.
The livestream also included heated allegations of infidelity. Frenchman constantly accused Dutchess dior of having sexual relationship with a nigger called Squeeze in which she promptly denied.
“I don’t know any Squeeze,” she snapped, swearing on her children’s lives to defend her innocence. She then accused her husband of harassment, saying he would FaceTime her while she was with someone else, just to taunt and emotionally abuse her.
The Frenchman, meanwhile, claimed that spiritual manipulation was involved. He spoke about getting a reading that revealed someone in his wife’s family had roots on him and was praying for my downfall. He accused Dutchess of trying to put a love spell on him and interfering with his efforts to reverse a supposed curse that he blamed for his financial losses.
The tipping point came when the Frenchman, visibly agitated and pacing during the live video, threatened to kill Dutchess if she dared to tell her side of the story. She laughed, perhaps not believing he was serious. Moments later, he brought out a gun, pulled the trigger and killed her.
Chaos erupted in the livestream’s comment section. Viewers watched in horror as the screen blurred and silence fell. He fled the scene in her car.
Just two hours later, in Georgia, the Frenchman’s life came to an end during a police standoff. Authorities attempted to apprehend him, but he turned the weapon on himself and committed suicide.
