Ms. Rinsola Abiola, the late daughter of MKO, has been appointed as the new DG of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre. She will advance the centre's mandate of instilling leadership values and civic engagement across Nigeria.

Ms. Rinsola Abiola, the daughter of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola (MKO), has been appointed as the new Director General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC)  by President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.

This announcement was made public by the president’s aide, Bayo Onanuga, on Monday, August 11, 2025. Ms. Rinsola is an expert in strategic communication and government relations. She previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President. 

Additionally, she was pivotal in establishing the APC Young Women Forum (APC-YWF), where she served as the secretary and later President. Both tenures focused on mentorship and capacity-building initiatives for women aged 18-35 within the party.

As the new DG of the CLTC, Ms. Rinsola will focus on advancing the centre’s mandate of instilling leadership values and civic engagement across Nigeria.
