Summary
To commemorate her second year in office, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan launched a series of constituency projects across five local government areas in Kogi Central. The Project commission tour took place from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, 2025. The projects included solar-powered water systems, boreholes, and smart streetlights in communities such as Ganaja, Adogo, Okene, Okaito, and Obangede.
To celebrate her second year in office, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, has commissioned several constituency projects in five local government areas of her district, starting from Oct 30 to Nov 1, 2025.
The first day of the commission exercise started with her commissioning a 50,000-litre capacity solar-powered water reticulation system in Ganaja and solar-powered smart streetlights in Adogo.
On October 31st, the senator also unveiled a 20,000-litre borehole in Okene Local Government and commissioned an additional 50,000-litre solar water scheme serving Okaito in Okehi and Adavi Local Government Area.
The commissioning exercise continued with the installation of smart solar street lighting in Obangede, Eika and Kuroko communities in Okehi.
Other communities that benefitted from the rollout include Ajaokuta Village, Nagazi, Oro Layout, Ebogogo, Adogo, Ebiya, Ogaminana, Geregu, Elete, Ajaokuta Township, Iruvusechi and Eika Ohizenyi.
On November 1, the Kogi Central senator highlighted the inauguration of new primary and secondary schools in the Fulani community of Osara/Abobo, Adavi Local Government Area, Kogi State.
“Today was the third day of commissioning projects leading to our second-year celebration in office as the senator representing Kogi Central,” Senator Natasha said. “One of the most remarkable events was the commissioning of brand-new primary and secondary schools in the Fulani community of Osara/Abobo in Adavi Local Government Area.”
