Nigerian Afrobeats star, Tiwa Savage, has officially launched the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation, a philanthropic initiative dedicated to nurturing emerging African creators across the continent. This is in partnership with Berklee College, the world’s largest independent college of music, famous for its courses in jazz, modern American music, rock, hip hop, and reggae.

A February 24, 2026, Facebook post by Gistlover claiming that Simi deactivated her account following a daycare controversy and an investigation announcement by National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) is false, as her verified X account remains active with no evidence of suspension or deactivation. Simi has recently faced online harassment after speaking out against rape and calling for accountability.

U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace has introduced the Death Penalty for Child Rapists Act, a bill that would allow the death penalty for individuals convicted of sexually abusing children under federal and military law. It is part of her broader push for accountability in child sexual abuse cases.
