Actress and media personality Nancy Isime has said that her concerns about the challenges people face in life have shaped how she thinks about having children.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Thanks For Coming podcast on June 23, 2026, Nancy Isime reflected on the realities of adulthood and questioned whether bringing children into the world is always an expression of love.
Responding to a question about how many children she hopes to have, she said the difficulties many people experience made her reconsider the idea of parenthood.
“If you really love children, you wouldn’t want to bring them into the world,” she said, pointing to the emotional, economic, and social pressures that many people navigate.
The actress questioned whether people would willingly choose life’s struggles if given the option, adding that the state of the world has influenced her perspective on raising children.
“Are you not suffering today? Is Earth not ghetto? Are you not going through a lot? Don’t you wish some days that you were not born? Did you ask to be here? Thank you. I rest my case,” she said.
Despite her comments, the media personality clarified that she has not completely ruled out becoming a parent in the future.
She acknowledged that hardship is a common part of the human experience and suggested that every generation faces its own challenges.
