The AWiM 2024 Conference also highlighted the significant need and opportunities for women to have impacts and voices in the media. The Conference aimed to promote women’s engagement in media, encourage them to build a professional network and use technology to combat gender-based violence (GBV).
Day 1 of the conference focused on discussions aimed at highlighting efforts to promote sustainability for women-owned media. Day 2 presented a business model workshop focusing on sustainability solutions for independent media.
The Conference was wrapped up with a gala night where the women came together for a social eventful night, making the conference’s final day a night to remember.
