As one of the contestants in the Albinism Advocacy Pageant, Kabirat is on a mission to break stereotypes and make a positive impact in society.

- Why did you decide to participate in the pageant?
I joined this pageant to build my confidence, raise awareness about albinism and show the world that beauty comes in every shade.
- What misconception about albinism would you like to change?
I want to change the belief that people with albinism are not capable. We are strong, intelligent and can achieve anything with support and opportunity.
- What advice do you have for young girls living with albinism?
I will tell her, “Believe in yourself, you are beautiful, smart and worthy. Don’t let anyone’s opinion stop you from following your dreams.”
- What is your goal for the next five years?
In the next 5 years, I see myself as a successful business owner that creates a platform to support and empower people with albinism and acquire more knowledge to enable me to have my own cake and pastry studio/
