A viral post on X has called out Dr. D.K. Olukoya for sexual assault against teens and women in the Church.
A lady, Grace Angel on X has publicly called out Dr. D.K. Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), of reportedly sexually assaulting teenage and adult women over several years. Her post, published on May 4, 2024, has since gone viral with 108.8k views, 106 reposts, and 91 likes.
In the post, she claimed that Dr. Olukoya carried out these assaults in his office, where he also recorded and photographed them in their vulnerable naked states without their consent.
The lady further said that these materials were either sent to third parties or retained by Olukoya.
“These footages he would later send to a third party who later either sends to the victims to their surprise to see themselves, and the General overseer himself would keep the footage for himself.” she said in the post
She stated that victims have spoken with Africa Independent Television (AIT) over the years and that AIT put the reports to the church. According to her, MFM responded with a “no comment.”
She added that even wives of MFM pastors were among the reported survivors:
“Pastor” D.K Olukoya Sexually assaults young and old Ladies, even his pastor’s wives. Let it be known, so we don’t need another BBC documentary to tell us what’s happening in our country.’”
The post has sparked reactions across social media. One user, @DMWadopted commented:
“I think maybe it is part of a demonic ritual. Why their congregation finds them infallible is beyond normal. Some are even willing to die for them. Media won’t dig. The law won’t investigate. This is evil thriving.”
This incident adds to a growing concern over how sexual abuse reports within religious institutions are often ignored or silenced. These claims are routinely swept under the carpet, with little or no investigation or justice for the survivors.
