“Every Supporter of Tinubu is Corrupt” — Yvonne Jegede

Nigerian actress Yvonne Jegede has accused President Bola Tinubu’s supporters of moral complicity in the country’s worsening insecurity crisis, via her Instagram Story on Thursday, May 29, 2026.

The Nigerian actress took to her Instagram Story on Thursday, May 29, 2026, to issue a direct condemnation of President Bola Tinubu’s supporters in the wake of a sustained escalation of kidnappings, killings, and insecurity across Nigeria. 

“Every supporter of Tinubu is a kidnapper, killer, beheader and corrupt individual. Deal with your conscience,” she stated.

Yvonne’s complaint is a continuation of her ongoing public reaction to Nigeria’s security crisis. As NFM previously reported, she had earlier taken to her Instagram Story on May 23, 2026, to call out the silence of Nigerians over the same crisis, stating that anyone who was not speaking out was complicit with the oppressors. 

Her latest statement comes against the backdrop of the abduction of 39 students and 7 teachers from schools in Ahoro Esinele community, Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State, on May 15, 2026.

The attack has marked a significant southward expansion of mass school kidnappings previously associated with northern Nigeria.
