On September 29, Femrivied, a leading mobile hiring and career platform in Nigeria, hosted its 2026 Career Expo in partnership with Jobberman Nigeria, bringing together women and career professionals for a virtual conversation on career development, employability, skills, visibility, and the future of work.
The event featured speakers including Esther Obele of Jobberman Nigeria, Lucía Librero Moure of Female Leadership Society Switzerland, Chiamaka Alum of She Talent Partners, and Martha Joseph of Blessing Media Consult.

Key discussions focused on developing transferable and technical skills, building professional visibility, understanding the changing workplace, using artificial intelligence effectively, personal branding, freelancing, and adapting to career transitions.
Esther Obele highlighted the importance of continuous learning, AI fluency, and human skills such as communication, creativity, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Chiamaka Alum encouraged participants to build lasting careers by documenting their experiences, developing transferable skills, and intentionally building their personal brands.
Lucía Librero Moure spoke about women’s leadership and the importance of supportive professional communities, mentorship, and access to global opportunities, while Martha Joseph encouraged participants to take action, gain practical experience, and continuously learn in the evolving digital economy.
Participants also received information about Jobberman training and mentorship opportunities, volunteering opportunities, and CV review support, with six participants selected for professional CV feedback.
The Career Expo reflects Femrivied’s commitment to empowering African women with the skills, knowledge, networks, and opportunities needed to navigate the future of work.
“The event was more than a career conversation; it was a step toward building a stronger pipeline of skilled, confident women ready to participate in the changing world of work,” Femrivied CEO, Oluwatoyin Magbagbeola, told Naija Feminists Media.
