Hilda Baci Criticises Body Shaming, Child Bullying of Brother

On June 25, 2026, celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci took to X to condemn the cyberbullying of her younger brother, David.

Hilda called out online users for bullying the 15-year-old after a lighthearted sibling video posted on her Snapchat went viral. The video was reposted across multiple platforms and used to mock the teenager over his weight. 

“Some of you have left cruel comments. Others have gone as far as editing his photos to make him look bigger just to get a few laughs. Read that again. Adults are editing the image of a 15-year-old boy and publicly mocking him,” Hilda said.

Hilda stated that her brother did nothing to invite the abuse. “If your idea of entertainment is tearing down a child, then that’s a reflection of your character, not his,” she stated. 

She urged users to consider the human impact of their actions before posting. She also directly addressed her brother’s bullies, stating that the adults responsible for the bullying carried a greater burden than anything they had tried to impose on her brother, calling their behaviour the real tragedy, not her brother’s appearance. 

“I hope, before you type another insult or share another edited image, you remember that there is a real teenager on the other side of your screen reading what you write,” she stated.
