A user on X, with the handle @neo_officialll, known as Nwankwo Emmanuel Obiora, declared that he would trust a male stranger over his own wife or daughter, simply because they are women.

The disturbing comment came in response to a woman’s tweet calling out her ex-boyfriend for owing her a large sum of money. While many rallied around the woman, urging the man to refund the money, @neo_officialll took a different stance rooted in misogyny.

“Like I said yesterday, I did not even need to hear from him to know that the girl was lying,” he posted. “Like I also mentioned yesterday, I will easily believe a male stranger over my own daughter or wife. Women are inveterate liars. I am not believing a woman.”

This latest incident is far from the first time Neo-official has dominated discussions online for controversy. In January 2025, he was accused of fraud, specifically, orchestrating a multi‑level marketing scheme promoting “Tradera” on Instagram, which defrauded thousands of his followers of money.
