Nigerian Falcon star and international striker Asisat Oshoala has signed a two-year contract with Al Hilal club in Saudi Arabia. This deal was finalised on Monday, September 1, 2025, after she completed her medical in Riyadh.

This development marked a new chapter in her career. Officially, Asisat completed her transfer from Bay FC in the National Women’s League in September. She will now play for Al-Hilal, a club competing in the Saudi Women’s Premier League, in the Middle East. Her contract runs through 2027.

Asisat is part of the victorious team that secured Nigeria’s 10th WAFCON title in July. She had played for Liverpool, Arsenal, and Dalian Quanjian shortly after she began her career with Nigerian sides, Robo and Rivers Angels. 

Asisat has a record of being a six-time Women’s Africa player of the year and a two-time Ballon d’Or Nominee. She will join teammates Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega in Saudi Arabia.
