Hair House Nigeria owner Esther Okereke revealed that her husband, Justice Okereke Ezechimere has fled with her property documents after beating her for eight years. Esther made this known in a viral video posted on her Instagram page on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in which she called for help and stated that she feared for her life.
“I returned from a business trip in Vietnam and noticed that my husband had taken my documents and left our house,” she stated in the video. She stated that Justice Okereke, who is from Ngor Okpala in Imo State, battered her for eight years and has now taken her property documents in an attempt to control her business and assets.
She stated that she has endured eight years of maltreatment in the marriage and is seeking a divorce. “I’m tired of the marriage, and I want a divorce,” she said.
Esther stated that Justice Okereke and his cousin, Ugo Oguzie Gladson, assaulted her, leaving her hospitalised. She stated that she has not known peace in her eight-year marriage and fears her husband is planning to kill her to steal her property.
“If anything happens to me, my husband Justice Okereke Ezechimere should be held responsible,” she stated in the video.
As of the time of writing this report, Justice Okereke Ezechimere has not made any public statement in response to the allegations. There is no confirmation from the police of any arrest or ongoing investigation.
