Male violence: Man murders woman in cold blood in Abuja Hotel Room

A viral video has surfaced showing a young woman, Aladi Offikwu Johnson, found unconscious with her hands tied behind her in a hotel room in Gwarinpa, Abuja. Moments before her death, a yet-to-be-identified man was seen accompanying her into the room. With the suspect at large, Nigerian police continue the investigation while promising justice.

A disturbing video has gone viral showing a young woman lying unconscious with her hands tied behind her in a hotel room in the Gwarinpa area of Abuja.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, preliminary investigations revealed that the woman later identified as Aladi Offikwu Johnson, known by friends and online followers as Tessy checked into the hotel on 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa, on June 16, 2025. An unidentified man accompanied her. CCTV footage showed the man leaving the hotel premises alone.

Hotel staff discovered Aladi’s unconscious body during routine checks and immediately contacted the Police. She was pronounced dead after a medical examination.

The FCT Police Command extended condolences to her family and assured the public that investigations are ongoing, with efforts underway to identify and arrest those responsible.

Tessy’s death adds to the alarming pattern of male violence Nigerian women face in Nigeria.
