Nkechi, who appeared exhausted and different from her usual look at the gym, expressed disappointment in a series of social media posts over the invasion of her privacy and attempts at body shaming. She stressed that her focus at the gym was on staying fit and healthy, not on appearance.

“I went to the gym to stay fit and healthy, not for a fashion show or runway. How am I supposed to look for the gym after a long day, abeg? It’s well.” she wrote.

The actress also condemned the person who took and circulated the photo online, describing the act as an attempt to mock and body shame her.
