- Nigeria Rescues 24 Abducted Kebbi Schoolgirls
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced that all the schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, Kebbi State, have been rescued. The girls were taken on Nov. 17, 2025, when gunmen attacked the school at dawn, killed the vice-principal and abducted 25 students.

- Nigerian Duo Make History as Africa’s First 2-Woman Bobsleigh Team at IBSF World Cup
Nigerian athletes Simidele Adeagbo and Kewe King made history as Africa’s first 2-woman bobsleigh team to compete at the IBSF World Cup on November 23, 2025, in Italy. They finished 25th, marking a landmark moment for Nigeria in winter sports.
Despite placing outside the podium, the duo’s achievement was celebrated by the National Sports Commission, as their participation marks a new chapter for Nigeria in winter sports.
