“They played every instruction given to them. The girls were determined to represent the country in Australia for the world championship,” he said.
Coach Kayode also expressed gratitude to Musa Nimrod, President of the CAVB Beach Volleyball Commission, for creating opportunities for Nigerian athletes to thrive on the continental stage.
He added that the team would commence preparations immediately to ensure a strong performance at the world event.
“We will start preparations for the world championship immediately so that we can also have a good result at the end of the tournament,” he noted.
At the CAVB Championship, Morocco clinched the gold medal in the women’s event, while Mozambique finished with silver.
