Summary

The Thai Embassy has introduced a new electronic visa application method for Nigerians and eight other countries in Africa.

In a statement released by the Royal Thai Embassy, Abuja on Dec. 22, 2024, the body has announced that Nigerians can now apply for an electronic visa to Thailand starting from Jan. 1, 2025.

Passport holders from nine countries, including Nigeria, will be able to complete their application online by using the official link after which the application process will typically take about five working days.

The Embassy, which has stated that they will not be receiving any physical application, recommends that applicants submit their visa applications at least 4 to 6 weeks prior to their travel dates. However, applications should not be submitted more than three months in advance.

For additional inquiries regarding the visa application process, applicants can reach out via email at co**********@mf*.th.
