An X user, Sir Alexix D’great, lost a job opportunity with chess advocate and philanthropist Tunde Onakoya after his past tweets targeting women were cited as the reason for his rejection on Jan. 12, 2026.

Tunde Onakoya had announced a vacancy for a personal and executive assistant, describing the ideal candidate as “the Donna Paulsen to my Harvey Specter,” and stating that applicants must be strong writers, detail-oriented, proactive, open to travel, and based in Lagos. He instructed that interested candidates should send me an email or DM.

Following this post, an X user, Sir Alexix D’great, expressed interest, but Tunde rejected him, responding, “Definitely not you.” Tunde Onakoya stated that the applicant’s conduct on social media did not align with the values he seeks in his personal and executive assistant. 

To clarify his decision, Tunde shared a screenshot image of @brahn_0T tweeting, “Fact about this kind girl,” to which Sir Alexix D’great responded to a question with, “Their obough nah 2k.”

Some users supported Tunde’s decision, with X user @NusratDReteller tweeting, “The tears of trolls in the comments, Mr Tunde, May the good Lord bless you for this.”
