Actress Georgina Onuoha Suggests Psychological Rehabilitation for Ned Nwoko

In a post shared on her Instagram handle on Monday, January 2026, actress Georgina Onuoha, popularly known as Gina, strongly criticised Senator Ned Nwoko following his public release of a WhatsApp chat about Regina Daniels. She suggested that he undergo urgent psychological rehabilitation for what she calls a public defamation of Regina. 

Recall that Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels have separated, following the Nigerian actress’s accusing him of control and domestic violence. Subsequently, the Senator had constantly accused Regina of drug usage and demanded rehabilitation. To refute the allegation, Regina conducted a drug test and published the result online, proving she is not an addict.

Following a public statement in which Ned still insisted that Regina still needs rehabilitation, Georgina issued a response, describing Ned’s attitude as “unbecoming of a responsible and honourable man.” She accused him of witch-hunting and having the traits of a malignant narcissist, a person who seeks total control over another person’s life. 

Referencing the age gap between Regina and Ned, Gina raised the alarm about marrying a young girl to older men. She stated that the 17-year-old, who has now turned 24, has matured and chosen to leave the path that no longer serves her. And a free society recognises that everyone has the right to walk away from toxic relationships.

She stated that Ned’s actions reflect the familiar pattern of women saying they are done, then what follows is manipulation,  intimidation, defamation, and relentless pressure. This is demonstrated in Ned’s labelling of Regina as a drug addict and using her children to force her to return.

In addition, she warned the Senator to leave Regina alone, saying freedom means the right to leave. She emphasised that if anything happens to Regina, he would be held accountable.

“Regina might not have the grammatical acumen to write epistles like you, but guess what, many good and just Nigerians will speak up for her. You are petty. It is obvious that you are the one in need of psychological rehabilitation. You need help, Chinedu,” the post concluded.
