Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has ended her maiden Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) campaign with Brighton & Hove Albion as the goalkeeper with the highest save percentage in the division, further cementing her reputation as one of Europe’s finest goalkeepers.
Official league statistics released after the conclusion of the 2025/26 season show that the Nigerian international recorded a save percentage of 74.7 per cent, the highest among all goalkeepers who played at least 10 league matches during the campaign.
The 25-year-old joined Brighton from French side Paris FC ahead of the 2025/26 season and quickly established herself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper. Despite playing behind a defence that regularly came under pressure, Nnadozie consistently delivered match-winning performances, helping Brighton remain competitive throughout the season.
She finished the league campaign with six clean sheets, tying for the fourth-highest tally among WSL goalkeepers, while her performances also earned her widespread praise across English women’s football.
In November, she won the Women’s Super League Save of the Month award following a string of outstanding stops and was later nominated for the league’s Save of the Season honour.
Her consistency also earned recognition beyond the statistics, with football analysts naming her in the Women’s Super League’s Under-the-Radar XI.
