Jennifer Elohor, a corps member of Anambra State, has cried out for help after an assault incident.  She demands immediate redeployment over threats to life and seeks intervention from relevant authorities.

Recall that Jennifer was assaulted by members of the Agunechemba vigilante group in Anambra State on July 23, 2025. The experience left her deeply traumatised and victimised.

Concern over the threats and intimidation she and her colleagues received while pursuing justice. Jennifer petitioned NYSC to demand immediate redeployment. However, the organisation threatened her with disciplinary actions, backing on the schemes bye-law instead of protecting them.

Jennifer has now turned to relevant authorities and human rights groups to intervene. She emphasised that their safety should not be compromised over national service. Additionally, the attack highlighted the broader insecurity in the state, leaving citizens vulnerable in a hostile environment.
