Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the Best Goalkeeper award in the 2024/25 French Arkema Premier League, following another impressive season with Paris FC.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper is aiming to retain the prestigious title she clinched last season, where she emerged ahead of top contenders like Christiane Endler of Olympique Lyon and Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of Paris Saint-Germain.
Chiamaka, who made history as the first African and Nigerian to win both the league’s Best Goalkeeper award and the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) accolade, is once again in contention. This season, she will compete against Mary Earps of PSG and Endler of Lyon for the coveted honour.
Since joining Paris FC in 2020 from Rivers Angels, she has consistently delivered standout performances between the sticks, gradually cementing her reputation as one of the finest goalkeepers in European football. This season alone, she has recorded 10 clean sheets, compared to Endler’s 13 and Earps’ 8.
Her excellence is not limited to France. Chiamaka Nnadozie has also won the CAF Best Goalkeeper award twice in a row, further underlining her elite status and influence in African and global women’s football.
Her continued recognition reflects her consistency, leadership, and world-class goalkeeping skills, making her a beacon of inspiration both at home and abroad.
