Nigeria’s Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has officially received her British Gas Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) Save of the Month award for November 2025. The award recognises her outstanding save during Brighton & Hove Albion’s 1–1 draw against Liverpool, where she acrobatically tipped Fuka Nagano’s long-range strike onto the crossbar.
The save, widely praised as one of the best of the season, showcased her quick reflexes and technical brilliance, further reinforcing her growing reputation in the league. Chiamaka had earlier been announced as the winner after beating competition from Sabrina D’Angelo, Faye Kirby, and Ayaka Yamashita.
The recognition adds to an impressive run for the 2025 CAF Goalkeeper of the Year, who has continued to stand out since joining Brighton, earning acclaim for her consistency, leadership, and shot-stopping ability. She has continued to impress with her commanding presence, quick reflexes, and leadership, further cementing her status as one of the standout goalkeepers in the Women’s Super League.
Recently, she was nominated for the IFFHS Women’s Best Goalkeeper award and ranked fourth among the world’s best female goalkeepers at the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
