Barrister Hannah Tuma Mulawa, the Nigerian Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, has declared support for Hilda Baci for her upcoming attempt to set a new world record for the biggest jollof pot.

Barrister Hannah Tuma Mulawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has expressed pride and support for Chef Hilda Baci as she prepares to attempt a new world record.

In a recent address on Sept. 8, 2025, Barrister Hannah Tuma lauded Chef Hilda’s continuous efforts to elevate Nigeria’s profile on the global stage, stating that she continues to carry the green, white, green flag high.

Following her previous feats of gaining international recognition for her Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, Chef Hilda Baci announced the Gino World Jolof Festival with Hilda.

The Minister emphasised that in Nigeria, the kitchen is not merely a place for cooking, but a stage for innovation and endurance.

“From suya to jollof rice, from nkwobi, our dishes tell stories of unity and diversity. And Chef Hilda will be writing Nigeria’s name boldly in the book of history once again,” she said.

The creative economy head also urged Hilda Baci to continue her endeavours with unwavering determination.
