Naija Feminists Media (NFM) has partnered with the Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation (ICCEF) to advance gender equality, youth empowerment and social inclusion across Nigeria.
ICCEF is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people and communities through education, leadership, and enterprise initiatives. Naija Feminists Media, on the other hand, is a women-centred media platform working to enhance the visibility, representation, and empowerment of women in media and society.
Through this collaboration, NFM will serve as ICCEF’s official media partner, providing coverage and publicity for the foundation’s programmes and events. Both organisations will also jointly design and implement initiatives focused on women, media, and youth development under ICCEF’s Youth Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (YEET) area, particularly those supporting young women.
NFM’s Community Engagement Officer, Oluwafunmbi Ogunsola, noted that the partnership charts the way forward for synergy within women-led organisations to drive inclusion, diversity, and tangible change.
“For us at Naija Feminists Media, this is about creating spaces where women and young people can own their stories and shape the future they deserve,” she said. “We are confident that the collaboration will further improve the representation of women-led NGO that do a lot in their communities but are visible in the media.”
