Naija Feminists Media (NFM) has been selected as a beneficiary of the Empowering Youth NGOs with Digital Skills and AI Tools training programme.
This initiative, organised by the Rising Child Foundation and supported by LEAP Africa through the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), aims to equip youth-led NGOs with essential digital skills and AI tools for effective civic engagement and good governance.
The training will provide participants with hands-on workshops and mentorship to enhance digital literacy, leverage AI tools, and develop impactful civic engagement strategies. Through this programme, youth-led NGOs will bridge the digital gap and access innovative solutions to scale their initiatives.
NFM is a feminist media organisation committed to reporting news about women free from bias and victim-blaming. With this training, NFM will be better equipped to deliver accurate and impactful storytelling, utilising digital tools to amplify women’s voices and advocate for social change.
The training will take place in two phases. The first phase is a physical training session in Ibadan, Oyo State, NFM’s communication officer Oluwafunmbi Ogunsola will represent the organisation The second phase will be a virtual training held a week later, which will include NFM’s content producer Joy Oke.
NFM is honoured to participate in this initiative and is committed to leveraging these skills to strengthen its efforts in feminist advocacy and media.
