A 41-year-old Nigerian man, Elvis Nosakhare, has been sentenced to six years in prison by Aylesbury Crown Court in the United Kingdom for sexually abusing the underage daughter of his girlfriend.
Elvis, a resident of Sheelin Grove, Bletchley, was sentenced on July 29, 2025, after pleading guilty to multiple charges involving sexual activity with a child. According to Thames Valley Police, he was convicted of two counts of penetrative sexual activity and three counts of non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl.
The offences occurred in the Thames Valley area after Elvis Nosakhare began a relationship with the survivor’s mother, whom he met on an online dating platform. The abuse was uncovered following a detailed investigation by the UK Police Child Abuse Unit.
Following his conviction, Elvis Nosakhare was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life. The court also issued a restraining order against him.
Reacting to the sentencing, Detective Constable Bryn Smith of the UK Police Child Abuse Unit commended the bravery of the survivor during the trial. He also encouraged other survivors of abuse to come forward and report to the authorities.
