A Nigerian man, identified as Lintex Ogale, has been arrested for the murder of interior designer Deborah Moses, popularly known as Deb’rah Porsche. He killed her in Lagos on the night of September 3, 2025, months after she ended their relationship.
Lintex Ogale, a native of Otukpo in Benue State, reportedly gained access to Deborah’s residence by disguising himself as a dispatch rider to deceive estate security. When security operatives became suspicious, he scaled the fence into the compound and proceeded to her apartment.
According to police sources, Lintex first attempted to cause an explosion by cutting the cooking gas pipe outside the house. When that plan failed, he broke into Deborah’s residence and stabbed her multiple times, killing her.
Family members disclosed that Deborah had ended her relationship with Lintex over a year ago, but continued to receive repeated threats from him, making statements like:
‘If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I don’t marry you, blood will flow.’
The case, initially reported at the Oko-Oba Police Division, has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.
According to the DOHS Cares Foundation, Deborah Moses is the 140th reported victim of femicide in Nigeria in 2025. Femicide, which is the intentional killing of women, is on the rise, with perpetrators often facing little to no accountability.
