Angel Smith, the former housemate in the BBnaija, fired back at critics over consistent scrutiny of her body physique.

Big Brother Naija reality show star and former housemate Angel Smith has slammed critics who stated that her recent weight loss was due to the usage of Ozempic drugs, a weight management supplement.

During a live session on Instagram on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, Angel attributed her weight loss to consistent workouts and quitting alcohol. However, this resulted in controversy, with commenters speculating that her transformation was due to the Ozempic drug.

Ozempic, also known as semaglutide, is a pen injection primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes in adults. However, it may also be used off-label for weight loss. In reaction to the allegation that she is using the medicine, Angel said,

“You weirdo lame ass hoes have been speaking on my body since 2021; give it a rest. Someone can not go to the gym and stop drinking alcohol without you all coming on here with your ugly ass lips talking about some Ozempic; shut up and stop speaking on my body.”

Angel also highlighted that she has been facing constant scrutiny of her body physique since 2021.
