Renowned Nollywood actress Ini Edo has praised Hollywood star Taraji P. Henson for her compelling performance in the newly released psychological crime drama Straw, calling her craft “raw, real, and soul-stirring.”

In an emotional Instagram post, Ini Edo expressed deep admiration for Taraji’s role in the film, revealing that it moved her to tears.

“From the first time I saw you in Hustle and Flow, to every single role you have played, to now, Straw. Oh my goodness. I felt every pain, tear, line, smile, twitch and turn, and every single move you made. You got me soaked in those moments,” she wrote. “I had uncontrollable tears as you ripped that character apart. You are a phenomenal actress, and there’s no one like Taraji.”

The Nigerian actress described Taraji as her all-time favourite, thanking her for reigniting the fire in her and urging her to “take her flowers.”
