Anita Chidiebube – Entrepreneur and the Founder of Anibrieght Ventures

  1. Why did you decide to become a model?

I decided to participate in this pageant because it is a platform to amplify my voice and advocate for people with Albinism, especially girls who face discrimination and bullying because of their skin. This pageant is more than a crown; it’s an opportunity to inspire, educate, and create change. I believe that by standing here, I can show others that beauty, strength, and purpose come in all shades, and that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and respected.

  1. What misconception about albinism would you like to change?

One major misconception I would like to change is the belief that people with Albinism are cursed, weak, or different in a negative way.

  1. What advice do you have for young girls living with albinism?

My advice to young girls with albinism is that they should have self-confidence and know that they’re unique. They are not a mistake; they are a masterpiece. Their skin is not a limitation; it’s a unique light meant to shine in dark places. They should never let anyone make them feel less than who they are. They are smart, beautiful, strong, and worthy of love and respect. They should speak boldly, walk proudly, and never hide their light. The world needs their voice, gifts, and courage. They are to stand out, not to fit in.

  1. What is your goal for the next five years?

In the next five years, my goal is to grow my business, Anibrieght Ventures, into a well-known brand that promotes hygiene, creates job opportunities, and supports underprivileged communities. I also aim to become a stronger voice for people with Albinism by leading awareness campaigns, mentorship programs, and advocating for equal rights and protection. I want to use my platform to inspire young girls to believe in themselves, chase their dreams, and become agents of change in their communities.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s first Albinism Beauty Pageant, organised by Misty Glam Company (MGC), will take place on September 13, 2025, in Lagos. For partnerships or sponsorships, contact MGC via email at hello@mistyglamcompany.com or WhatsApp at 0704 870 4115.
