Lagos, Nigeria – Following three highly impactful editions that have transformed lives, inspired action, fostered meaningful connections, and empowered women to rise above limitations, the highly anticipated UPYOUWOMEN Conference 2026 is set to return bigger, bolder, and more transformative than ever.
Scheduled for Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the MUSON Centre, Lagos, the conference will convene women from across Nigeria, Africa, and the global diaspora for what organisers describe as “The Definitive Conference of the Year.”

This year’s theme, ALIGNED: Positioned for Purpose and Impact, speaks directly to the realities of women navigating an increasingly complex world.
In a culture that often prioritises activity over intentionality, achievement over alignment, and success over significance, UPYOUWOMEN Conference 2026 is creating a space for women to pause, gain clarity, realign with purpose, and move forward with renewed confidence and direction.
More than a conference, UPYOUWOMEN is a movement.
It is a gathering of women committed not only to succeeding but to living intentionally, leading authentically, and creating meaningful impact in their families, careers, businesses, communities, and nations.
Over two powerful days, participants will experience a transformational immersion designed to challenge perspectives, expand possibilities, deepen self-awareness, and provide practical tools for personal and professional advancement.
This is not merely a two-day gathering. It is a deliberate investment in the next season of life. It is a space for reflection and recalibration. A place to align and realign. A place where clarity meets opportunity. A place where purpose meets action.
And a place where women are equipped to make a greater impact in the world around them. According to Julia Oku Jacks, Chairman of the Board of Advisors, the conference continues to evolve because the need has never been greater.
“Women today are navigating unprecedented opportunities and unprecedented challenges. More than ever before, they need clarity, community, capacity, and confidence. UPYOUWOMEN Conference 2026 has been intentionally designed to provide all four. This year’s theme is a call to alignment—a call for women to reconnect with purpose and position themselves for lasting impact.”
The conference will feature an outstanding lineup of global and national thought leaders, industry experts, entrepreneurs, innovators, executives, and transformational voices, including:
• Amb. Khadijah Okunnu
• Prof. Joy Ada Onyesoh
• Alibaba Akpobome
• Michelle McKinney Hammond
• ‘Seyi Jolayemi (SDJ)
• Dr Eden A. Onwuka
• Iquo Ukoh
• Dr Ronke Posh Adeniyi
• Karen Ifeoma Ubani-Alli
• Dr Omotola Bamigbaiye-Elatuyi
• Obinna Onunkwo
• Dr Nike Folagbade
Together, these distinguished speakers will lead conversations on leadership, entrepreneurship, purpose discovery, resilience, influence, economic empowerment, personal growth, emotional well-being, faith, innovation, and the future of work.
The conference will be delivered in a hybrid format, enabling participants to attend physically at the MUSON Centre, Lagos, or virtually from anywhere in the world.
This global accessibility reflects the conference’s expanding vision to connect and empower women beyond geographical boundaries while strengthening its growing Pan-African influence.
According to Ezinne Kufre-Ekanem, Convener of UPYOUWOMEN Conference, the mission remains clear: “We are gathering women into clarity. Clarity about who they are. Clarity about what matters. Clarity about their purpose.
Clarity about their next step. When a woman gains clarity, she becomes aligned. When she becomes aligned, she becomes unstoppable. UPYOUWOMEN Conference 2026 is designed to help women move from confusion to clarity, from potential to purpose, and from intention to impact.”
One of the most significant highlights of this year’s conference is a strategic collaboration with the MTN Foundation. What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that it extends beyond supporting an event.
It supports the future of women. Through MTN Foundation’s support, attendees of UPYOUWOMEN Conference 2026 will gain access to the MTN Skills Academy (MSA), a digital learning platform powered by Coursera, offering world-class training and certifications at no cost.
Participants will have opportunities to build future-ready skills in:
• Data Analytics
• Digital Marketing
• Software Development
• Project Management
• Entrepreneurship
• Employability Skills
• Other Future-of-Work Competencies
Learners will be able to study at their own pace, acquire practical knowledge, and earn globally recognised certifications that can unlock new career pathways, entrepreneurial opportunities, and economic advancement.
Because the impact of a conference should not end when the event concludes, it should continue in the lives, careers, businesses, and futures of the women who attend.
The organisers have expressed deep appreciation to MTN Foundation and the growing community of sponsors and partners supporting the conference, including Stanbic IBTC, Three Crowns Milk, Rite Foods, and other organisations committed to advancing women and creating sustainable impact.
Beyond the keynote sessions and panel discussions, UPYOUWOMEN Conference 2026 will also feature a vibrant and robust marketplace showcasing products, services, innovations, and opportunities from women-led businesses and partner organisations.
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to connect directly with a highly engaged audience of decision-makers, professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and emerging leaders.
Organisations, brands, development agencies, and businesses seeking visibility, engagement, and meaningful alignment with women’s advancement are invited to participate as exhibitors, sponsors, and strategic partners.
As momentum builds toward August, one thing is clear:
UPYOUWOMEN Conference is no longer simply an annual event. It is a growing platform for transformation. A catalyst for leadership. A community for growth. A movement for impact. And for thousands of women, it is becoming the place where purpose finds direction and potential finds expression.
