Summary

Comfort Emmanson, recently released from Kirikiri Prison after the Ibom Air incident, has been offered a N500,000 monthly job by Delta State Governor’s aide Ossai Ovie Success. The package also includes a fully paid trip, luxury accommodation, and a ticket to the Delta Social Media Summit.

Ossai Ovie Success, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, has extended an offer to Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger recently released from Kirikiri Correctional Centre.

Comfort Emmanson was filmed being forcibly dragged off an Ibom Air flight by staff, during which her shirt tore, exposing her breasts. She was subsequently remanded in Kirikiri Prison and given an indefinite air travel ban.

In a post on X, Ossai Ovie announced that Comfort Emmanson had been offered a fully paid trip to Delta State, a guided tour, and a ticket to the Delta Social Media Summit scheduled for August 28 in Asaba. The package also includes flight tickets, five-star hotel accommodation, and a secured job in Delta State with a monthly salary of N500,000.

“I’d like to extend an invitation for her to visit Delta State and unwind after her release from Kirikiri prison,” he wrote. “She won’t be disappointed as I will be giving her a good time.”

Comfort Emmanson has yet to publicly respond to the offer. In a post on her Instagram page, she said she was “still in pain due to how I was treated” and would need medical attention before giving her full account of the incident.
