Tragedy struck Nigeria again as another woman, Kitan Oyesiku, a retired broadcaster in Ogun State, was found murdered in her residence at Iyana Agodo Village in Abeokuta. Her death was confirmed by the Ogun State Police Command on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
Kitan Oyesiku is a renowned retired broadcaster who is admired and respected for her professionalism, warmth, and commitment to broadcasting.
- Misogyny: Oladimeji Hammed Remanded at Kirikiri for Cyberbullying Late Mohbad’s Spouse Omowunmi Aloba
A Lagos Magistrate Court in Ogba has remanded 27-year-old TikToker Oladimeji Hammed, popularly known as Immunizer, at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre for cyberbullying of Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba. He was arraigned on a six-count charge bordering on cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and the publication of harmful online content against Omowunmi.

- Misogyny: Abia Police Arrests Agwu Ukpo for Brutal Assault of Amarachi Chiyere over Pot of Soup
A disturbing viral video on social media captured Agwu Ukpo physically assaulting Amarachi Chiyere over a pot of soup. According to preliminary investigation, the victim, Amarachi, was said to have washed a pot of leftover soup, which made the suspect enraged. While she tried to explain her actions, Agwu descended on her and brutally assaulted her. The suspect has been arrested by the Abia police and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
