Former BBNaija housemate Tega Dominic has been appointed as a special adviser on sexual harassment to the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). She shared this via her Instagram handle on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) is an inclusive umbrella organisation and professional union that represents all professional screen actors from all ethnic groups in the 36 states of Nigeria. It was established in 1998 and acts as a unified voice to influence legislation and policies that affect the creative economy.
The office of the Special Adviser on Sexual Harassment is responsible for developing and implementing policies to protect members from harassment, advocating for safe and ethical working environments, advising the Presidency on prevention strategies, and establishing mechanisms for reporting, investigating, and resolving incidents within the Guild.
According to Tega’s appointment letter, the reality star was chosen for her professional competence, sound judgment, and extensive experience.
“We believe your appointment will greatly enhance the effective delivery of this sensitive role and contribute to the continued growth and prestige of the Guild,” the letter reads.
In response to the appointment, Tega expressed gratitude to the AGN leadership, describing the role as a call to serve with integrity, courage, and compassion. She explained that her work will prioritise strict measures against sexual harassment, improved reporting structures, and support for affected individuals.
“My commitment is clear: Zero tolerance for sexual harassment. Safe, confidential reporting systems. Protection and support for survivors. Education, awareness, and accountability. A culture where respect is non-negotiable. Together, we will build an industry where talent thrives without fear, and dignity is never compromised,” Tega states.
