In a recent interview, Actress Iyabo Ojo has revealed that she has zero tolerance towards rapists or rape apologists.

In a recent video podcast interview with the “TalktoB” show, popular actress Iyabo Ojo revealed that she strictly stands against rape and is ready to go after any rape apologists, even if it happens to be her own son.

The episode, which started airing on YouTube on Jan. 3, 2025, currently has 117k views and lasts for over one hour, delves into the life of actress Iyabo Ojo. Answering numerous questions on her life, career, children, and her role in getting justice for the late singer Mohbad, the actress revealed that she had been a victim of rape five times, and the abuse opened her to the realisation that there were a lot of rape apologists in the Nigerian society.

“I’ve been raped five times in my life. I have also discovered that we have a lot of rape apologists. I don’t care who that person is; even if it is my own son that is a rape apologist, I’m going to come for him. I’m unapologetic about standing firm against rape,” she said.

Iyabo’s bold stance against rape remains important in ensuring that the society holds male perpetrators of sexual abuse and violence against women accountable.
